PLEASE MAIL US, WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK!

WARNING BITSTREAM SOFTWARE IS CURRENTLY IN STATIC MODE

Welcome to Bitstream Software; a company dedicated to the quality of our software and the care of our users. We hope you will enjoy what we have to offer, and support us by providing any feedback you can.

UPDATE Paul leaves

02/07/99

As mentioned two articles down, Kristan has left Bitstream Software, therefore I am the only one still here. Well, folks, sorry to tell you, but I've now left Bitstream Software because of various problems. I'm sorry to leave, please leave your farewell messages in the Guestbook.  I'd like to thank you all for your fantastic support over the last 9 months, I'll miss all this.  It's now time to type my last few characters on this web page before I go....

I've now left this website on Autopilot, also known as "Static Mode". There's now no-one here, but the administrator will maintain the website. I will try to ke <end transmission>

UPDATE Bitstream Website restructure

01/07/99

As mentioned below, the structure of the Bitstream Websites is changing, and this is almost complete now. The new address for Bitstream Software is:

http://www.bitstream.freeserve.co.uk

Also, we have moved the EyeBrowse and TextKeeper sites onto this one, to make it easier for visitors and ourselves. The new addresses for these pages are:

http://www.bitstream.freeserve.co.uk/eyebrowse

and

http://www.bitstream.freeserve.co.uk/textkeeper

The old addresses should automatically forward you to the relevant page at these new addresses. If you have any bookmarks or links from your website to our sites, please update them as soon as possible with the new URLs.

IMPORTANT! Major Bitstream Software changes

30/06/99

Many things have changed here at Bitstream in the past few weeks. Most noticeable of these changes is the sudden departure of lead programmer Kristan Dyson, who has chosen to pursue a solo career in software development. Exactly what shall happen with Bitstream in the coming months is yet unknown, but rest assured it shall be continuing. For the immediate future, work on TextKeeper (announced below) shall continue and temporarily become our main focus. Using the plural to describe Bitstream might seem inaccurate now Kris has left, but voluntary help is being used to help keep things moving along smoothly while the whole company is sorted out. Before the completion of TextKeeper, many changes in the structure of the various websites will be introduced, and these changes shall be announced in full shortly. Should you have any questions about the above issues, or simply wish to voice an opinion, feel free to mail us anytime.

UPDATE TextKeeper enters the physical realm...

12/05/99

Our almost mythical application, promised since October 1998, TextKeeper, has been started at long last, but by Visual Developer Paul instead of Lead Programmer Kris (due to the heavy EyeBrowse workload). A TextKeeper page is now up complete with an early screenshot, giving a good taste of what to expect from this great upcoming freeware program
