Common Problems

 

Please check the following point if your copy of EyeBrowse is not working:

1. You may have downloaded the setup version without a specific runtime file - MSVBVM50.dll.    Find out more by clicking MSVBVM50.dll (above)

2. You may not have specific files that are needed for the program to run and they were not included in the setup downloads.  These files can be easily obtained from "File Archive"

3. You may not have the minimum requirments, which are not a lot!  They are: At least 8Mb of RAM, Windows 95/NT/98, 486 Processor, 256 colours (ideally 16bit or above).

4. You might be running a beta version, available for download from our personal sites a while ago.   Click the update button and if it tells you that the beta versions are no longer supported you know that you must download a full version

This software has been tested by beta testers before they get to you, so many bugs are fixed, but unfortunately some can creep through to the released version.  We are doing all we can to make sure you get satisfactory results and have information at hand all the time.
