Runtime File

MSVBVM50.DLL is a runtime file that was NOT included in the second version of EyeBrowse setups. Option 1 however DID include this file.

When you create a program in Visual Basic (programming language) there are several file that must be included with the "Executable" (*.exe, the program that you double click to run it.).  The executable file relies on dependency files, to run it.  Run it means:   When you use the program, the program performs background functions that can only be implemented with this specific "Runtime" file.  All VB (Visual Basic) applications need this file, and this is why we gave the option of not downloading it again, if you already had it.

Where do I put it when I get it???

If you downloaded the larger version you will already have it.

If you decide to download it and put it in the necessary place yourself, then you should follow the exact instructions below:

1.When its finished downloading it from the archive, you should uncompress it using winzip (or pkzip[dos]).

2. Select the file, and right click.

3. Then click "Cut" in this menu.

4. Then go to the following directory:

C:\Windows\System

5. Then put the mouse over a space in the directory listings (or not over a file already in the directory).

6. Right click again, then "Paste" it in.

7.  You should now start EyeBrowse and if it does NOT work then you should write down exactly what the dialogue box says when you try to start the program.  Then you should go to the File Archive on this site and see if it's there.  Match the filenames, and download the appropriate file.

If no dialogue box comes up when you try to start Image Browser and it does NOT work, then you have come to a specialist problem that you should describe and submit into the "Problem Submission" Page.
